The Homeward Initiative, a nonprofit developed by the 2019 President’s Engagement Prize winner and Penn alum Brendan Taliaferro, helps LGBTQ+ youth in Philadelphia find short-term housing solutions in the city.

HopePHL delivers health and housing services to more than 25,000 community members, residents, and students annually, with Penn’s support.
